How GigQ works
Two sides to every show — here's what the experience looks like for musicians and for the crowd.
Go live in three steps
From your first login to a live show with a room full of engaged fans.
Create your show
Set up a gig with a venue name and date. Build your setlist from your personal song library — add, reorder, and prep everything before you go on stage.
Share your room code
GigQ generates a QR code and a short room code for every show. Display it on stage, print it on a sign, or just shout it out — your audience joins instantly with their phone.
Play what they want
Watch requests and votes roll in on your live dashboard. Boosted songs (with a Venmo tip attached) float to the top. Mark songs as played as the night unfolds.
Join the show in seconds
No app to download, no account to create. Just scan and get involved.
Scan the QR code
Point your phone at the code on stage — or enter the room code at gigq.net. Type in your first name and you're in. That's the whole setup.
Vote and request
Browse the current setlist and vote your favorites to the top. Don't see your song? Submit a request and let the crowd weigh in.
Boost with a tip
Really want to hear a song? Send a Venmo tip to the musician to boost it to the top of the queue. Boosted requests get priority — and your money goes directly to the artist.
