Common questions
Do I need a Venmo account?
You need a Venmo username to receive tips — that's how money flows from the audience directly to you. Audience members use whatever payment method Venmo supports on their end.
How does GigQ handle payments?
GigQ doesn't process payments. We generate a Venmo deep link that opens the Venmo app. Tips go directly from the audience member to your Venmo. GigQ never touches the money.
How do I get access during beta?
Beta access is invitation-only right now. Request an invite and we'll reach out when your spot opens up.
